Clausify is operated by Polsia (clausify@polsia.app). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our AI contract review service at clausify.polsia.app.
2. What We Collect
We collect the following information:
- Contract files: Documents you upload (PDF, DOCX, TXT) for analysis. These are processed by our AI and stored temporarily.
- Email address: If you subscribe to updates or create a Pro account.
- Payment information: Handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store raw card details.
- Usage data: Anonymous analytics (page views, feature usage) to improve the service.
- Session identifiers: A browser-local session ID to scope your review history to your device.
3. How We Use Your Data
- Process uploaded contracts and generate AI analysis results
- Manage your account and subscription
- Send service-related communications (receipts, updates)
- Improve Clausify's accuracy and performance
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your data to third parties, and we do not use your contracts to train AI models without your explicit consent.
4. Data Retention
Uploaded contract files are retained for a limited period to serve your analysis results, then automatically deleted. Analytics data is retained in aggregate, anonymized form.
You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing clausify@polsia.app.
5. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party services to operate Clausify:
- OpenAI: AI analysis of contract content (subject to OpenAI's data handling policies)
- Stripe: Payment processing (subject to Stripe's privacy policy)
- Render / Neon: Hosting and database infrastructure within the EU
6. Your Rights (EU/GDPR)
If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority
